On our drive to the Sahara Desert, we first stopped at a factory that made tables and other decorative items from the fossils that are easily found in the desert here.
Then we stopped for tea at a woman’s house.  We chatted quite a while with her and her two sons.
This is her kitchen.
We went to our camp, then we drove to a house where the daughter gave us henna tattoos. Â This is mine. Â After the henna dries, henna can be flaked off to reveal a red design. Â It usually lasts a couple of weeks. Â Women have henna parties where everyone gets a henna tattoo.
